Class Descriptions

Hatha yoga is the style of yoga we practice at our studio.  It is the most widely practiced style of yoga in the United States.  It is a combination of asanas(poses) pranayama (breath techniques) and relaxation(meditation).  This style focuses on physical health and mental well being.

Hatha Energy:  This is a traditional Hatha class.  Each class you will be working on different asanas(poses) that focuses on a predetermined theme.  Through out the class you will focus on breath and the lines of energy that are created with each asana.  Deepening the concentration of the mind and body until you are physically and mentally renewed.
Instructor: May Cameron

Hatha Flow:  This class does a s combination of
Hatha style yoga mixed with a little flow.  Flow simply means that we are chaining poses (asanas) together, flowing from one poses into another.  This breaks up the time by introducing a change of pace.  We will be working on increasing
our strength and flexibility, physically and mentally. This class is a great place for beginners to start.
Instructor: Cheri Cain

PiYo: PiYo is a combination of Pilates and Yoga.  The classes focus on building the core (Pilates) and increasing flexibility (Yoga).  PiYo will strengthen and awaken the core of the body producing a calm, clear mind as well as balance of flexibility and power.  The linking of deep breathing and a flowing sequence of postures produces a purifying internal heat.
Instructor: Cheri Cain

Fit  Yoga: You will have fun moving your body in this fitness based yoga class. Your instructor will lead you through a class that focuses on body balance using breath, traditional yoga postures and cardio movement. The classes are an hour long and will awaken your whole body, increasing strength, stamina, flexibility, improved posture and proper alignment. The yoga postures will be broken down so every level of student can participate with ease.  All fitness levels are welcome!
Instructor:  Callie Streich

It is our sincere belief that if a new student comes to
class that they are our guest.
We want them to be comfortable in practicing yoga.
Moving according to their speed and ability.
That is why our classes are considered Multi-Level which simply means that no matter what your skill level of yoga is,
you will feel comfortable in class.

It is our job to help you grow in your yoga practice, and not make it difficult by doing advanced or hard asanas (poses).

We want you; our guests to enjoy all of the many health benefits
